The Power of Participation: How Local Volunteers Shape the Future of Medicine

When people think about medical breakthroughs, they often picture scientists in laboratories or

major research hospitals in big cities. What many don’t realize is that progress in medicine also

happens right here in our local communities.

At Tribe Clinical Research, the future of healthcare is shaped by everyday people, parents,

grandparents, working professionals, and retirees, who choose to participate in clinical trials.

Their involvement helps transform promising research into real-world treatments that improve

lives.

This is the only age group that doesn't yet have a COVID-19 vaccine available.

Tribe Clinical Research is the only site selected in South Carolina to take part in Pfizer's trial. Doctors said a phase three trial is the last step in the process before a drug receives approval.
